CAMPBELL COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL HIRES CARA HUNT AS HEAD VOLLEYBALL COACH

Campbell County High School Principal Adam Ritter has announced the hiring of Cara Hunt as the next
Head Volleyball Coach. “We are extremely excited for Cara to lead our volleyball program and join our
faculty at CCHS,” said Adam Ritter. Coach Hunt comes to CCHS from Lyon County High School where she
teaches math while coaching at the Volleyball Academy of Pennyrile Region. Prior to taking a teaching
job at Lyon County, Cara was the Head Volleyball Coach at Crittenden County from 2014 – 2019. Her
2018 team was 5 th District Champion and she was named the KHSAA Region 2 Coach of the Year.

Coach Hunt is a graduate of Murray State University with a Bachelor of Science in Middle School
Education and Georgetown College with a Master of Arts in Teacher Leadership. She will be teaching
math at Campbell County High School.

Cara is a graduate of Mount Vernon High School in Mount Vernon, Indiana. She was a multi-sport
athlete earning letters in volleyball, basketball, and track. She is a third-degree black belt in karate and
has competed nationally and internationally as well as serving as an instructor.
