2025 Campbell County High School Spring Sports Information – please see below.
All student-athletes must have submitted a valid KHSAA Physical Form prior to trying out or on the first day of tryouts.
Spring Sports Fee – $75 per Student-Athlete (per sport)
Please note that many of the Spring Sports have practices and games/events that occur during Spring Break – please plan accordingly.
BASEBALL – 2025 Season
Tryout Dates/Times – Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors
Feb. 10 – 6:00pm – 7:30pm
Feb. 11 – 3:00pm – 4:30pm
Feb. 12 (First Cuts) – 6:00pm – 7:15pm
Feb. 13 – 3:00pm – 4:30pm
Feb. 14 – 6:00pm – 7:30pm
Feb. 15 (Final Cuts) – 12:00pm – 2:30pm
Tryout Dates/Times – 8th Graders and Freshman
Feb. 10 – 7:15pm – 9:00pm
Feb. 11 – 4:15pm – 6:00pm
Feb. 12 (First Cuts) – 7:00pm – 8:30pm
Feb. 13 – 4:15pm – 6:00pm
Feb. 14 – 7:15pm – 8:30pm
Feb. 15 (Final Cuts) – 10:00am – 12:00pm
Location – CCHS Baseball Field / CCHS Field House / CCHS Turf Field
All students trying out must have valid KHSAA Physical on file with CCHS Athletic Department or submit on the first day of the tryouts. Players need to bring a glove and any other baseball equipment (bat, helmet, etc.) is encouraged. Gym shoes or turf shoes or plastic cleats – no metal cleats during tryouts. Students not participating in a Winter Sport, wanting to tryout must attend the dates scheduled for tryouts as there are no other tryout dates scheduled. Winter sport student athletes that are still participating in their sport during the scheduled tryout dates, will be given an alternate tryout schedule after their Winter Sport season has ended.

Players need to bring a glove and any other softball equipment (bat, helmet, etc.) is encouraged. If you don’t own your own bat or helmet you can use one of the teams. Gym shoes or turf shoes or plastic cleats – no metal cleats during tryouts. Wear shorts or sweatpants….No Jeans. Students not participating in a Winter Sport, wanting to tryout must attend the dates scheduled for tryouts as there are no other tryout dates scheduled. Winter sport student athletes that are still participating in their sport during the scheduled tryout dates, will be given an alternate tryout schedule after their Winter Sport season has ended.
