Volleyball Wins Districts

Posted On: October 11, 2012 Posted By: Ian Polatka

The camels defeated the Scott Eagles tonight in 4 games to capture the district title. That makes them back to back district champs.

They came into the tournament as the number one seed after compiling a 6-0 regular season record against district foes. That pace continued as they played their first match against Silver Grove. The Trains came off a win against Calvary Christian the night before. But that camels made short work of them beating them in straight sets (25-5, 25-10, 25-12).

Tonight would be much the same. The Camels only dropped one set on their way to the district title.

This marks the first district title for first year coach Kim Nemcek. Great job ladies.

The regional tournament is next. We will post details as they become available.
