Eastern Relays & Bourbon County Invite Recap

Eastern Relays

The weather for this meet was less than ideal: steady rain, some snowflakes, cool, and windy. Our Lady Camels stepped up to the challenge and found ways to stay dry and warm up for their events. While our performances were not quite what we hoped, it was a day where weather affected the entire field and the overall meet results were not quite as competitive as usual. We finished 31st out of 56 scoring teams (many more teams than that represented). That sits fairly well considering we only participated in a handful of events.

Highlights of the Day:

Fourth place:

  • Weinberg- High Jump

Sixth place:

  • Weinberg-Triple Jump
  • 4×800 (Meiser, Kramer, Kavanaugh, Florimonte)

Bourbon County

The weather in Paris, Ky was dry, but still pretty chilly. Overall the girls ran well, bringing in a 7th place finish. There were a few personal best performances, and we were able to work on some technical details this week. Official Results: http://results.tfmeetpro.com/wilderresultsP/2019_Bourbon_HS_Relays/
