What a meet! Any team in any sport can tell you that post-season contests can swing many ways as teams face challenges, but also rise to the occasion. We had some outstanding performances, but also a few challenging moments where other teams posted better-than-predicted finishes. I truly believe that our ladies pushed their limits and left all they had on the track as we once again saw many season best performances. We should feel extremely proud of the guts and determination with which our Lady Camels pushed through a tough day: our alternates subbed in without question or reserve, we fought through injuries with band-aids and tape, we adjusted misplaced steps, and we made last minute changes to line-ups and order with grace and flexibility. Our overall finish was 4th place, but that does not represent our championship mentality and work ethic. Our community is proud of these Lady Camels.
