NKAC Recap

Posted On: April 27, 2018 Posted By: Toni McKee

Having a sunny day and warmer temperatures sure makes a difference!

In the past two nights of Conference competition, our team showed great promise with more season bests meet as we move closer to the postseason.  Those season bests placed the team in 5th. Although that is a bit short of our team goal, dropping best performances is a strong effort. If those performances continue on the improvement track, we should be right where we need to be for regional competition. We have a tight region, so focusing on these last few weeks of workouts and meets is vital.

Congratulations to the following Lady Camels who had outstanding performances last night:

2nd place:

  • The duo of Hope Hounshell and Laney Weinberg
  • 4×400 meter relay of Weinberg, Kavanaugh, Kramer, and Meiser

2018 NKAC champions:

  • In the both the 4×800 meter and distance medley relays Kavanaugh, Reagor, Meiser, and Kramer
