Campbell County Track and Field Senior at the Donnie Carnes Memorial MeetCongratulations to the boys and girls track team who recorded 45 season-best performances Saturday.  Below is the recap for each team:

Girls Recap

The Lady Camels once again dropped over 45 Season-best performances to vault the team into 2nd place overall. That is fantastic! It was a great day of teamwork on many levels.  Outstanding performances of the day included:

1st Place finishes:

  • 4×800-Reagor, Franzen, Kramer, Kavanaugh,
  • 3200 meter run- Sidney Reagor
  • Triple Jump-Lainey Weinberg

2nd place finishes-

  • Long Jump- Lainey Weinberg

3rd place finishes:

  • 400 meter dash- Grace Kramer
  • 800 meter Run-Kayla Kavanaugh
  • 1600 meter Run-Sidney Reagor
  • 4×400-Kramer, Meiser, Kavanaugh, Moloney
  • High Jump-Lainey Weinberg

Boys Recap

The CC boys participated in the Donnie Carnes Memorial Invitational. The boys placed 5th overall out of 18 teams. The following boys placed in the top 3 in competition.

  • 4×100 – 2nd (Singleton, Combs, Strange, Kersey)
  • High Jump – 3rd – Camden lacy
  • Long Jump – 2nd – Brady Singleton
  • Discus – 3rd – Connor Geiman
