Lloyd Invitational 4/19/14

On Saturday, the Camels’ JV track teams competed in the Lloyd Invitational with the Girls’ team finishing in 9th, and the Boys’ “A” team finishing in  5th, while the Boys’ “B” team finished 9th. Some of the top performances for the girls were:

  • The 4×200 Meter Relay of Emily Combs, Lindsay Ross, Rachel Steffen, and Erica Henry finished in 5th place with a time of 2:17.4
  • Alisha McGrath came in 4th in the Triple Jump with a leap of 23-07.00

Some of the top performances for the boys were:

  • In the 4×800 Meter Relay, Brandon Cartwright, John Leopold, Ian Franzen, and Bryan Howell finished in 2nd with a time of 9:23.5 and the team of Nick Padin, Nolan Padin, Josh Haller, and Shawn McGrath finished in 4th with a time of 9:39.3
  • In the 110 Meter Hurdles, Andrew Hyden placed 2nd by finishing in 17.9
  • Shawn McGrath, Zach Craig, Erik Seiter, and Jake Verst earned a 4th place finish in the 4×200 Meter Relay by crossing the finish line in 1:44.3
  • Adam Burbrink, Zach Craig, Jake Verst, and Erik Seiter finished in 3rd, while Grant Combs, Damien Blades, Gabe Richardson, and Greg Carson finished in 6th place with time of 51.1 and 56.8
  • Andrew Hyden won the 300 Meter Hurdles finishing in 43.6
  • In the 200 Meter Dash, Andrew Hyden took home 2nd place finishing in a time of 24.5
  • The 4×400 Meter Relay of Josh Haller, Nick Padin, Nolan Padin, and Shawn McGrath earned a 5th place finish and the team of John Leopold, Tony Drew, Brandon Cartwright, and Bryan Howell earned a 6th place finish with times of 4:07.4 and 4:08.0
  • Andrew Hyden won the Triple Jump and set a new PR by jumping 39-11.00
  • In the Pole Vault, John Leopold finished 2nd (9-00.00) and Bryan Howell and Erik Seiter tied for 5th (7-06.00)
