Ryle’s Friday Night Frenzy

On Friday Night, the Camels competed in Ryle’s Friday Night Frenzy with the girls’ team finishing third and the boys’ team finishing 6th. A lot of great efforts and performances were turned in by both teams on Friday Night. The top performances for the Girls’ Team were:
- Becca Cline and Brooke Buckler finished 1st and 2nd in the 100 Meter Hurdles with times of 16.70 and 16.82
- The 4×200 Meter Relay of Brooke Buckler, Kaitlyn Donoghue, Becca Cline, and Emily Orth earned a third place finish with a time of 1:56.62
- Becca Cline took home 1st place in the 300 Meter Hurdles with a time of 49.86
- Jennah Flairty came in 2nd in the 800 Meter Run with a finishing time of 2:33.04
- Brook Buckler finished 5th in the 200 Meter Dash with a time of 28.19
- Jennah Flairty won the Girls’ 3200 Meter Run crossing the finish line in 12:25.39
- Emily Steele placed 5th in the High Jump with her best jump of 4-06.00
- Meredith Donoghue finished 5th in the Long Jump with a leap of 14-06.00
- Taylor Schuchter finished 5th in the Discus with a throw of 79-02
- Kaylee Johnson finished 5th in the Shot Put with a toss of 25-08.75
The top performances for the Boys’ team were:
- Devon Strange took home 3rd place in the 100 Meter Dash with a finishing time of 11.70
- The 4×100 Meter Relay of Gunnar Froelicher, Dustin Turner, Dylan Rich, and Kyle Edgley finished 6th with a time of 47.56
- Andrew Hyden came in 6th place in the 300 Meter Hurdles crossing the finish line in 44.36
- Mark Chaplin finished 5th in the 800 Meter Run with a time of 2:11.18
- Dylan Rich crossed the finish line in 200 Meter Dash with a time of 24.79, which was good for a 5th place finish
- Mark Chaplin placed 3rd in the 3200 Meter Run by finishing in 10:43.90
- The 4×400 Meter Relay team consisting of Kyle Edgley, Dylan Rich, Marthen Kummer, and Andrew Hyden took home third place in a hotly contested race with a time of 3:49.03
- Andrew Hyden jumped to 6th place in the Triple Jump by leaping 36-05.50
- Doug Carson and Derek Groneck threw their ways to 4th and 6th place finishes in the Shot Put by throwing 40-01.00 and 39-02.50
The next Varsity meet for both the Camels and Lady Camels is next Saturday (3/29) at LaSalle High School in Cincinnati in the Legends Meet.
