Scott Classic 5-2-13
In the Scott Classic at Scott High School on Thursday, the girls and boys JV track team wrapped up their season. At the meet, the girls’ team highlights were:
- Alex Gregory finished 6th in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:06.40
- Alex Gregory finished 5th in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:35.20
- Emily Steele finished 8th in the 200 meter dash with a time of 29.94
- The 4×400 team of Rebekah Combs, Samantha Garland, Jessica Gutapfel, and Abby Tiemeier finished 8th with a time of 5:03.75
- Alex Gregory finished 8th in the pole vault with a height of 7-00.00
The boys’ team highlights were:
- The 4×800 team of Parker Younse, Michael Dumaine, Brandon Cartwright, and Brett Torline came in 8th with a time of 9:19.84
- Brian Spahr finished in a tie for 7th in the pole vault with a height of 8-00.00
