Results: Ryle “Friday Night Frenzy” 3/29/13

On Friday Night, the Camels competed in Ryle’s Friday night Frenzy with the girls’ team finishing sixth and the boys’ team finishing 2nd. On Friday Night, some of the girls’ highlights were:

• Jennah Flarity finished 4th in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:05.64
• Jennah Flarity finished 1st in the 3200 meter run with a time of 12:09.71
• Becca Cline finished 2nd in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 16.99 and Brooke Buckler finished 3rd with a time of 17.48
• Becca Cline finished 1st in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 49.34
• The 4×100 relay of Rachel Combs, Lauren Macke, Emily Orth, and Angie Lauer finished 6 th with a time of 57.09
• The 4×200 relay of Kaitlyn Donoghue, Angie Lauer, Emily Orth, and Lauren Macke finished 5 th with a time of 2:00.29
• Olivia Cassinelli finished 5th in the discus throw with a distance of 78-04

For the boys, highlights of their runner-up performance were:

• Jake Zabonick and Grant Mahoney finished 1st and 2nd in the 100 meter dash with times of 11.51 and 11.69
• Grant Mahoney and Jake Zabonick finished 1st and 3rd in the 200 meter dash with times of 23.03 and 23.98
• Aaron Orth finished 3rd in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:08.42
• Kevin Lackey finished 5th in the 1600 meter run with a time of 5:05.88
• Mark Chaplin finished 2nd in the 3200 meter run with a time of 10:50.09
• Mohammed Bayyari finished 4th in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 17.89
• Mohammed Bayyari and David Behymer finished 3rd and 6th in the 300 meter hurdles with times of 44.96 and 46.68
• The 4×100 meter relay of Roosevelt Obison, Ben See, Devon Strange, and Brayden Hannah finished 4th with a time of 47.67
• The 4×200 meter relay of Will Seiter, Jake Zabonick, Roosevelt Obison, and Grant Mahoney finished 2nd with a time of 1:36.81
• The 4×400 meter relay team of Will Seiter, Aaron Orth, Andrew Hyden, and Devon Strange finished 4th with a time of 3:46.32
• The 4×800 meter relay team of Mark Chaplin, Kevin Lackey, Dylan Valdez, and Aaron Orth finished 2nd with a time of 8:51.90
• Matt Mayer and Jake Zabonick finished 3rd and 6th in the high jump with heights of 5-06.00 and 5-04.00
• Andrew Hyden finished 3rd in the triple jump with a distance of 37-07.00

The Camels track team is back in action next Friday, April 5, at Boone County High School for the Boone County Invitational.
