Swimming Regionals Updates

Below are updates from the KHSAA Swimming and Diving Regional Meet:

Saturday, 11:22pm:

Region Finals Results

Girls Medley Relay placed 7th with a time of 1:58.90 breaking the school record. Members included Paige Hedger, Anna Morris, Abbie Loesch, Grace Meiser.

Abbie Loesch places 3rd in the 500 free and 6th in the 200 free with a time of 1:58.08 breaking the school record.

Marian Tiemeier Finished 1st in diving with a score of 513.05. This broke both the school and region record. She was also named to all Region team.

Colten Stephany placed 7th in the 100 Fly with a time of 55.50 breaking the school record again and 6th in the 500 Free.

Paige’s Hedger placed 8th in the 100 free with a time of 56.99 breaking the school record and 9th in the 100 Back.

Girls 200 Free Relay placed 12th. Members included Sophia Smallwood, Anna Morris, Grace Meiser, and Emme Schumacher.

Boys 200 Free Relay placed 13th and 12th in the 400 free. Members included Nolan Neiser, Jordan Hartig, Luke Chamberlin, and Colten Stephany.


Saturday, 3:30pm:

Congratulations Marian Tiemeier on placing 1st at regionals. Her final score was 513.05 which is a new School record. With placing 1st she automatically qualifies for the KHSAA State Diving meet.

Reagan Parker placed 14th.


Friday, 10:45pm:

Abbie Loesch finished 6th in the 200 free qualifying for Championship heat tomorrow. She finished with a time of 2:00.59 and set a new school record! She also finished 3rd in the 500 free and qualified for the championship heat.

Paige Hedger broke the school 100 Free record with a time of 57.00. She qualified 8 and will swim in the championship heat. She also broke the 100 back record with a time of 1:02.34. Finished 9th and will swim in consultation final.

The girls 200 Medley relay broke the school record with a time of 2:01.59. Members included Paige Hedger, Anna morris, Abbie Loesch, and Grace a Meiser.

Anna Morris broke the school 100 Breast Record with a time of 1:13.87. She placed 10th and will swim in the consultation final.

All 3 relays will be swimming tomorrow in either the Championship Heat or consultation heat.

Friday, 4:24pm:

Colten Stephany qualified for both individual events for the region finals tomorrow. He placed 5th in the 100 Fly with a time of 56.08 breaking the school record. He placed 8 in the 500 Free with a time of 5:06.06

All three boys relays will also be swimming tomorrow for the finals.
