Volleyball Celebrates after winning the Filly Fling

The Varsity Lady Camels completely dominated the competition at Harrison County winning the Fillie Fall Fling Volleyball Championship.  Led by a balanced attack from Senior Grace Issacs (MH), Junior Kyndal Curry(OH) and Sophomore Elyse Wieland (OH), the Lady Camels defeated Montgomery County, Marion County and Ludlow enroute to the Championship match against host Harrison County.  Harrison County leads the 10th region with a impressive 28-5 record but the Lady Camels were not intimidated.  Campbell County came out strong taking a 10-2 lead in the first set and never looked back.  The Camels won 25-18 despite a furious comeback attempt from Harrison County in the first set and completely dominated the second set 25-12.  This victory gave the Lady Camels their 20th win on the season and stand at 20-12 overall with two games left in the regular season against Highlands and Boone County.
