Lady Camels Soccer 2012

This year was the first time in school history that Campbell County’s girls soccer team has made it to the regional tournament. We were district runner ups, falling to Bishop Brossart in the finals. Losing in a shoot out. It was an honor to be part if this team for the 2012 school year. We advanced to the finals of regions beating George Rogers Clark and Harrison County. We faced Brossart for the third time in the finals. Losing by a shoot out for the third time that season to them, we were named regional runner-up.

I am happy to say we had the most wins in school history for the Lady Camels soccer team. We also had two people named to first team All-Region: Taylor Robinson and Lauren Macke. Two people on second team: Angela Lauer and Natalie Visse and one on the third team: Bryanna Schroers. Lauren Macke was also named National High School Player of the Week. This team had so many great accomplishments. It was an honor to be apart of it and I couldn’t ask for a better group of girls to share it with.
