Regional Championship Slips Away

Posted On: October 20, 2012 Posted By: Ian Polatka

This afternoon the varsity came up short in the region 10 championship game. They lost to Brossart 2-1 (6-5 in penalty kicks).

Although it was a disappointing end to the season they had a great year. From what I understand the girls team had never made it to the regional tournament, much less a penalty kick away from the KHSAA State Tournament.

They had a great postseason, only giving up 3 goals in the 5 games of Districts and Regionals.
