Tonight’s game saw both teams struggling to hold the lead.
The camels would strike early in the first quarter as quarterback #15 Avery Wood would run into the end zone on a 2 yard carry. They would miss the two point conversion as Wood’s pass sailed out of the back of the end zone.
Four minutes later the breds would get on the board with a touchdown of their own. Their extra point would be successful giving them the lead 7-6.
Both team would get a touchdown in the second quarter. The Camels would tie the game with a successful 2 point conversion.
Halftime would come with the score tied at 14.
After a scoreless 3rd quarter the camels would take the lead midway through the 4th when Avery Wood ran it up the middle for his third touchdown of the game.
The breds would answer with a touchdown pass with under 4 minutes left in the game, but the missed extra point would keep the camels up by one. After receiving the kickoff the they would be able to run the clock all the way down giving them the one point victory.
Next week the Camels travel to Cooper.
