The camels came out strong. They held the bluebirds to a three-and-out on their first possession, and had two solid drives. But came up just short on both of them.
At the end of the first quarter the score would be 0-0. The defense was looking good, but Highlands quick pace would catch up with camels, scoring 21 unanswered points in the 2nd quarter.
The bright spot for the camels came midway through the 4th quarter when #15 Avery Wood connected with #3 Nate Hess for a 55 yard touchdown pass. Wood would complete the 2 point conversion pass to #5 Josh Carroll.
The camels return home next week to face Newport Central Catholic on Friday at 7:00pm.
