The Camels season came to an end last night at Bob Miller stadium.  Simon Kenton took the victory, winning 29-21.

The game was back and forth from the opening whistle.  Simon Kenton received the opening kickoff and scored quickly on a 55 yard TD run.  The Camels answered right back scoring on a 2 yard Tyler Durham run.  The score was 7-7 with 6:04 remaining in the 1st.

Simon Kenton scored again, with 7:29 remaining in the half, on an 8 yard TD run.  That made the score 14-7, Simon Kenton.  There was no quit in the Camels on this night.  After receiving the kickoff and converting a tough 4th down, the Camels marched down the field.  With only :00.7 remaining in the half Avery Wood completed a 4 yard TD pass to Kyle Hoskins.  The score was tied 14-14 at halftime.

The Camels received the kickoff to open the 2nd half and continued their 1st half momentum.  Tyler Durham led the team down the field.  Avery Wood caught a pass and ran hard getting the Camels in the red zone.  Durham scored on a 2 yard keeper putting the Camels in the lead 21-14 with 7:47 left in the 3rd quarter.

Simon Kenton took the kickoff and ran it back to the Camels 20 yard line.  They scored 2 plays later on a 19 yard pass making it 21-21 with 6:56 left in the 3rd.  Simon Kenton added another score and 2 pt conversion with 2:09 left in the third.  The score was 29-21, Simon Kenton.  That score held up through the 4th quarter and became the final score.

The Camels season may be over…but, we have much to be proud of and even more to look forward to.  Congratulations to the Camels team, athletes, coaches, and assistants on an exciting season.  Also, a huge THANK YOU to this Senior class.  We are proud of you and will miss you.

Next year the Camels return many underclassmen.  They will open the season on their new home field.  Greater things are yet to come for this team!
