Fair Parade Details (CCYFL)

Parents,
CCYFL will be walking/riding again this year in the Alexandria (World’s) Fair Parade. The following information will help you and your student navigate this week’s big event!
When: Wednesday (8/28)
Drop Off Location: Campbell County Middle School. Please drop your student off at 5:45pm.
Parade Details: Coach Matt Clark will have a truck and trailer there for our teams to ride on. As many kids as possible should be in his truck bed and trailer. NOTHING CAN BE THROWN FROM THE TRUCK OR TRAILER (including candy). Coach Clark — Parade Line up begins at 4:30-5:30. Students should arrive at 5:45…Washington St will close promptly @ 6pm….the parade starts promptly at 6:45pm.
Float Number: CCYFL is entry #53
Pick-up Location: Alexandria Fair Grounds. The parade ends at the fairgrounds. Parents should either plan to pick students up at the fairgrounds or communicate alternate instructions with their coach.
IMPORTANT NOTES: A coach from each team must be present if any players plan to walk in the parade. No candy should be thrown from the moving vehicle (this is only permitted if handed out (by hand) by people walking along side the floats.
