“Welcome Home” to the CCYFL

Posted On: May 8, 2013 Posted By: Stuart Chowning

All,

The Campbell County Youth Football League was founded on several key items:

Solid Competition
Family Friendly
Unique Opportunities

And…we are back in 2013 with some exciting updates and opportunities for your children.  Here is what you can expect this season:

Solid Competition — CCYFL is going back to its roots.  All grade levels will compete against teams outside league.  That means we will not just be playing the other internal teams.  Many of our games will be played against other teams/leagues in NKY.  This will help our players get better and should be a lot of fun to watch!

Family Friendly —  We take the sport seriously, but we consider your family time just as important.  As such, we will continue with our Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday schedule (with occasional Saturday games).  This structure maximizes athletes learning while not burning out them or their parents.

Unique Opportunities —  NEW THIS YEAR…all athletes will get to compete, at least once, on the brand new CCHS Varsity turf field.  This will be a cool opportunity for our youth to experience what it will be like when they wear the Purple and Gold on Friday nights!  Go Camels!!!

The league has been listening to you.  We have tightened up the competition, improved communication, and are ready for a banner year!  You can sign your student up this week at the CCYFL Open Enrollment.

WHAT:     CCYFL Open Enrollment
WHERE:  Campbell County Middle School cafeteria (around back, lower level)
WHEN:    Saturday 5/11
TIME:      9am-12pm

Come out, ask questions, learn how this league has improved, and sign up!

Thanks,
Stuart Chowning
