Introducing the CAMELS Volleyball new Head Coach – Mikah Freppon

Camels Athletics is honored to introduce our new Varsity Volleyball Head Coach, Mikah Freppon!  Coach Freppon brings a great deal of volleyball experience with her and is very excited to lead the Camels program.  Coach Freppon is a graduate of Lewis University (Romeoville, IL) where she played 5yrs on the Flyers Women’s Volleyball team.  While at Lewis Coach Freppon was part of a GLVC Conference Championship team, participated in four NCAA National Tournaments, and one NCAA DII National Championship Final Four.  Coach Freppon was named to multiple All-GLVC Academic Teams and was a three-time recipient of Br. David Delahanty Award for Student-Athletes with Academic Excellence.  Coach Freppon is from NKY, growing up in Cold Spring and she is a Newport Central Catholic High School graduate.  While at NCC, Coach Freppon was a 4yr letterman for the Lady Thoroughbreds volleyball team, a four-time All-District selection, three-time All-Region Team selection, was named Cincinnati Enquirer All-Star 2nd Team in 2016 and was a Cincinnati Enquirer All-Star 1st Team member in 2017.  Coach Freppon finished her prep career with 2,269 Assist and 793 Kills.  Coach Freppon also played club volleyball for NKYVC Tsunami, and 4yrs with Tri-State Elite.  Recently Coach Freppon has coached 11-year and 15-year old’s in the NKYVC program.  Coach Freppon will be teaching Special Education at Campbell County High School starting this upcoming school year.  Please join Camels Athletics in welcoming Coach Freppon to CCHS.  #GOCAMELS
