CCYFL Registration Information

February 8, 2013

Campbell County Athletics held a Campbell County Youth Football League (CCYFL) Open Forum on January 31.  A number of changes were discussed…and that change is already being felt.

1) Communication — Youth Sport, including CCYFL, will soon have a home on CamelPride.com.  That will make it easier to learn about schedules, results, fundraisers, and other matters necessary for your child to be successful.  Specifically, please find the attached 2013 CCYFL Registration Form and information.  The Fees are lower and you are hearing about it earlier.  Change is Good!

2) Leadership — Campbell County Athletics is taking applications for any person interested in taking a leadership role with CCYFL.  If you are interested in exploring this opportunity please apply at the following link https://www.astihosted.com/campbell/JAMNew/Posting/Pos_DetailView.asp?PositionID=QPT31241221111112&jobtype=N.

We would also like to ask that you send an email of interest to Stephen Lickert at Stephen.lickert@campbell.kyschools.us or Aaron Caudill at aaron.caudill@campbell.kyschools.us.  Also, let us know if you would like to serve on a CCYFL Executive Board and Advisory council.  This group will assist in making league decisions in correlation with representatives from Campbell County football and Campbell County athletics. Change is good!

3) Other Items Discussed

Reduced pay-to-play fees
N.O.C.S.A.E. approved helmets
Games in the new stadium at CCHS
Trained coaches
Balanced teams
Outside competition
Quality playing time for all players
Divisions are as follows: 1st/2nd , 3rd/4th, 5th/6th
7th grade team will play in NKMSAA

More to come on all these topics. Stay tuned.

Campbell County Athletics continues to demonstrate their commitment to this league.  Today’s CCYFL are tomorrow’s State Champions!

Go Camels!
