What a great weekend for running! Sophomore Sidney Reagor placed 25th, running a course PR and just 6 seconds from a career best at 19:35. Her 25th place finish qualified her for KTCCCA All-state team. Junior Shawn McGrath finished in 156th place; he got caught in a tight pack in the first mile, but ran his fastest 2 mile split all year. He finished with his 3rd best career time in 17:55.
It definitely was a great season with a young team that improved every race. With no seniors in the boys’ varsity line up, a 1-5 split of 40 seconds, and a hard working attitude, next year the Camels should be major contenders once again in Regional competition.
