Franklin County Invitational Recap

This weekend the running Camel participated in The Franklin County Invitational at the Kentucky Horse Park. It was a beautiful day on a great course and the Camels responded well! In Lady Camels action Jennah Flairty turned in a course PR with a time of 19:36 and placing 4th out of 200 runners, solidifying her role as one of the top runners in the state. Close behind was Sydney Reagor in 20th place, showing as a freshman she is poised to clinch a top spot in the region. Rounding out the Camels were Paxton Glenn, Gracey Sizemore, Anna Johnson, Allison Wendling, and Kara Pangburn, bringing the Camels a 7th place finish out of over 30 teams.

In the boys race, Mark Chaplin clinched the 11th place spot out of over 200 runners and ran a strong race with great pacing. Thomas Comer and Jared Neiser pushed in to finish with our tandem 2-3, Followed closely by Joey Mcgrath, Shawn McGrath, Anthony Schwarberg, and Colton Conroy. The boys team finished 7th as well, out of over 30 teams. It was a great day for the Camels!
