The Running Camels pushed up in the pack of NKY Cross Country this weekend at the Grant County Invitational. The Lady Camels placed 6th of 13 teams overall on Saturday, again with their best finish at this meet in four years. They were led by Senior Jennah Flairty who placed 3rd and Freshman Sydney Reager Who was 13th in a race of over 100 athletes. Rounding out the Camels Pack was Paxton Glenn, Gracey Sizemore, Anna Johnson and Kara Pangburn. Great job ladies!

The boys team placed 7th of 19 teams with Mark Chaplin clenching the 2nd place trophy of the day, followed by award winner Thomas Comer. The Camels pack of Jared Neiser, Joey McGrath, Shawn McGrath, Anthony Schwarberg, Alex Johnson, Colton Conroy, and James Erwin came tightly through the finish line to push the Camels into one of the top spots of the meet. Having a pack this close this early in the season only means good things for this young team!
