Lexington Catholic Invitational Recap

This past Saturday at the Lexington Catholic Invitational at the Horse Park, Jennah Flairty dropped further in her sub-20 times to a 19:52 5K, placing 11th out of 164 runners. Anna Johnson, Allison Wendling, Kara Pangurn, and Jordan Miller all beat their previous times on this same course, showing they are poised for their peak performances within the next 2 weeks.

In the boys Varsity race, Mark Chaplin ran much more consistent miles to come through the finish in 16:45, placing 16th in a race of 191 runners. Joey McGrath fell into the sub-18’s running a 17:52 and placing in the top 3rd of the race. Thomas Comer went out of the gate with a determination to have a break out race and he claimed the 3rd position in the Camel Squad. Rounding out the varsity Camels were Jared Neiser, continuing to turn in solid performances, Kevin Lackey, and Shawn McGrath who also ran a season best 19:26.
