Today members of the Boys and Girls teams competed at the state meet at the Kentucky Horse Park. Below is the news from Coach McKee.

At today’s state cross country meet, we were blessed by great weather, great fans, and some great performances!

Jennah Flairty ran a tight race and finished 33rd out of nearly 300 runners, putting her in the top 10% of Kentucky AAA runners! This is an outstanding accomplishment for a sophomore in the highest division of KHSAA schools. Congratulations on a fabulous season Jennah!

In the boys race, Sophomore Mark Chaplin debuted in his first KHSAA state meet by running a personal best, and coming in 66th of nearly 300 runners, putting him in the top 20% of the race This is a great feat in Kentucky’s most competitive meet! Rounding out the Camel performances today were Aaron Orth, Kevin Lackey, Dylan Valdez, Peter Glenn, Jared Neiser, and Thomas Comer, proving that the young Camels have a bright future! Great job today Camels!
