Congratulations to the Campbell County Lady Camels who pounded the competition in Saturday’s Pendleton County Cross Country Invitational! In varsity action, Jennah Flairty flew through the course for an easy victory and setting a new course record. She was closely followed by MaKenzie Cave in 4th place and Lorin Martin, Alex Gregory, Kara Pangburn and Paige Langworthy rounded out the pack to give the Lady Camels their second place finish.

In lady JV action, Allison Wendling out-paced the competition and brought home the gold and Amber Valdez, Anna Johnson and Jordin Miller followed close behind, all winning top 20 medals!

Congratulations to the boys cross country team as they placed second in Saturday’s Pendleton County Invitational. Mark Chaplin led the Camels with a third place finish while Kevin Lackey placed 7th, Aaron Orth 11th, and Dylan Valdez 14th. Peter Glenn and Jarod Neiser pushed the Camel pack in giving the points they needed.

In the Boys JV race, Camel Parker Younse took an early lead and held tightly to it to finish first and lead the team to a second place finish. He was closely followed by Thomas Comer in 3rd, Grant Combs in 6th, Derek Groneck in 11th, Doug Carson 14th, and Devon Strange in 16th. Adam Burbrink and Andrew Kiddy were on their heels as all JV Camels ended the day with hardware!

Congratulations to all the running Camels on a great day of racing!
