CCHS Boys Soccer Celebrate with the 2017 regional trophy

Boys soccer advances to the 2017 KHSAA State Soccer Tournament Saturday afternoon as they took down the Bishop Brossart Mustangs 3-0 at CCHS.

The camels got on the board early as Senior Forward Mohamed Adan punched a goal in at the 6 minute mark. Making the score 1-0 heading into halftime.

It wouldn’t be until about 10 minutes was left in the game that the 2nd goal was scored by Senior Forward Gabe Smallwood, followed by a third 8 minutes later by Sophomore Mid-Fielder Trey Penrod.

All tournament team members were Trey Penrod, Adam Clark, Gabe Smallwood, and Mohamed Adan.

Next Game

The camels will host Mercer County, out of the 12th region, on Monday night in the opening round of the Kentucky High School Athletic Association State Tournament.
