Varsity wins opening match

The JV team started off the season with a great win over Harrison County. It was an all-around well played game by the team, with a 7-0 victory being the result. Goals were scored by Adam Clark with 4, Colton Schneider with 1, Dakota Hamilton with 1 and Gabe Smallwood with 1. Players with assists in the game were Gabe Smallwood with 3, Morgan Drake with 1 and Colton Schneider with 1. The combined shutout was put up by Joseph Wilber’s and Trey Schierenbeck. A huge congrats to the JV team for the win!
The varsity team did not start the season off as well, going down 1-0 to Harrison County early in the game. The team fought hard though, and scored three goals to rebound nicely. Every player left it all out on the field as they battled to a 3-2 victory. Goals were scored by Michael Dumaine, Grant Perkins and Matt Weber. Players with assists were Kory Sterbling and Colton Gearhart. Well played varsity boys! It’s always nice to start the season off with a win.
