Camels qualify for State

Camels claim four of the eight individual spots in the 5th Region singles tournament Tuesday at Bellewood Lanes.
Matt Chalk captured the singles title, defeating teammate Jordan Racke in the Championship, 211 to 209. Matt also beat the Camels Trey Brun and Brossart’s Jimmy Kelley on his way to the title.
On the girls side of the tournament, the Camels Erica Biddle placed second to Newport’s Katlyn Hoen, losing, 198 to 191 in the Championship match.
All four Camel bowlers will participate in the state singles tournament in Louisville on February 7th. The 5th Region team tournament is next Wednesday at Bellewood at four.
