Senior Spotlight – Deondre Jackson

Today’s “Senior Spotlight” features Deondre Jackson, the Camels 6’3″ senior swingman. Deondre has been a huge part of the success of the Camels basketball program since he arrived at Campbell County. Deondre is the son of Phillip Jackson and Michelle Grove. Earlier this season, Deondre joined an elite club by netting his 1,000th career point. Deondre recently committed to play basketball at the next level with Kentucky State University in Frankfort, KY. Camel Pride recently caught up with Deondre to find out more about the Camel senior.

DJ: Shrimp & Fries

DJ: White Collar

CP: What is your favorite book?
DJ: “Forge By Fire”

CP: What is your favorite subject in school? Least favorite? DJ: Favorite subject – Math. Least favorite – English

CP: Who is your favorite athlete?
DJ: Lebron James

CP: Who is your favorite sports team?
DJ: Cleveland Cavaliers

CP: Who is your favorite musician/group?
DJ: Drake

CP: Who has been the biggest influence in your life?
DJ: My Mother (CP: good answer, Dre)

CP: What is your most memorable sports memory?
DJ: Playing in the KY State tournament last year

CP: What goal do you most want to achieve in your life?
DJ: Attend and graduate from college
