Campbell County Camels Varsity couldn’t keep up with Conner and fell 4-2 on Wednesday.
Conner captured the lead in the second inning. An error scored one run for Conner.
Conner took the lead for good with one run in the fourth inning. In the fourth a runner stole home.
Nick Craddock earned the win for Conner. He threw five innings, giving up two runs, two hits, and striking out six. Brian Manning recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Conner. Brady Brooks took the loss for Campbell County Camels Varsity. He tossed six innings, giving up four runs, seven hits, and striking out five.
Noah Brewer, Colton Hartig, and Matt Reynolds all had one hit to lead Campbell County Camels Varsity.
