In the opening round of the 10th Region tournament, A twelfth-inning Harrison County single spelled defeat for Campbell County Camels , falling 7-6 in walk-off fashion at Clark County on Monday.
With the score tied at six in the twelfth inning, Kinsey came to the plate and singled, scoring Mitchell.
Kevin Skinner was hot from the plate for Campbell County Camels . Skinner went 3-6, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the seventh, eighth, and tenth innings.
Kyle Becker worked out of 35 tough spots for Campbell County Camels . He pitched 5 1/3 innings and allowed one earned run on six hits. Becker faced his most difficult moment in the tenth inning.
Taylor got the win in relief for Harrison County. Taylor pitched three innings and allowed one run.
Harrison County was sparked by Mitchell and Day, who teamed up for 11 hits and three RBIs.
Alex Franzen took the loss for Campbell County Camels . He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
The bottom of the second saw Harrison County take an early lead, 1-0. Harrison County got things going when Stroub singled. S. Free singled, plating Claypool.
Harrison County scored one run in each of the fourth, fifth, tenth, and twelfth. In the fourth, Harrison County scored on an RBI single by Day, bringing home Claypool.
