Campbell County Camels Varsity falls behind in sixth inning in 7-3 loss to Dixie Heights

Campbell County Camels Varsity lost the ballgame after losing the lead in the sixth inning Friday, as Dixie Heights grabbed a 7-3 victory in seven innings at Dixie Heights.
Gabe Kremer had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He homered in the third inning and doubled in the sixth inning.
Breeden recorded the win for Dixie Heights. He allowed one run over two innings. Breeden struck out one, walked none and gave up two hits.
McGee, Daria and Harrison helped lead Dixie Heights. They combined for four hits and four RBIs.
Joey Dawn was the game’s losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
In the bottom of the first, Dixie Heights grabbed the early lead, 1-0.
Dixie Heights scored one run in the second inning, and then followed it up with one more in the third. In the second, Dixie Heights scored on an error, plating Albert.
The game’s last lead went to Dixie Heights thanks to a sixth inning rally that saw four runs cross the plate on two doubles and an RBI single by Harrison.
