Camels won the hit battle 7-6 on Monday, but couldn’t push enough runs across to get the win, instead losing 4-2 in seven innings to Boone County at Boone County.
Mitch Kramer boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 2-2 day at the plate to pace Camels. He singled in the third and fifth innings.
Andrew Perrin put together a nice outing. Perrin held Boone County hitless over 2 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out one.
Huff recorded the win for Boone County. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out six, walked one and surrendered six hits.
