Tyler Walsh did all he could to give Camels a boost, but it wasn’t enough to get past Covington Catholic, as Camels lost 9-6 in seven innings at Tom Mohr Field on Monday.
Walsh racked up two RBIs on one hit for Camels. He singled in the second inning.
Davis got the win for Covington Catholic. He allowed four runs over 3 1/3 innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered four hits.
Kunkel, Heppler and Ward helped lead Covington Catholic. They combined for six hits and five RBIs.
