A tight game was decided in the sixth inning as Camels fell to Clark County 7-5 in seven innings on Friday at Clark County. Camels commit seven errors in the field.
Tyler Walsh racked up three RBIs on two hits for Camels. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the sixth inning.
Bates recorded the win for Clark County. He tossed two-thirds of an inning of shutout ball. Bates struck out none, walked none and gave up one hit.
The top of the first saw Camels take an early lead, 1-0. Paul Griffis got things going for Camels with a single. A groundout by Mitch Kramer then moved Griffis from first to second. Walsh doubled, plating Griffis.
Clark County answered Camels’ top inning with two runs of its own in the first. Clark County scored on an error and an error.
After posting two runs in the fourth, Clark County again scored two in the sixth. In the fourth, Clark County scored on a two-run single by Stoneking, plating Roe and Williams.
