Camels trailed by four in the fourth, but Paul Griffis was able to capture the lead back with a ground out in the fifth, spurring Camels to a 10-9 win in seven innings over Anderson at Anderson on Tuesday.
With the score tied at nine, grounded out, plating Josh Reynolds.
Griffis racked up two RBIs on three hits for Camels.
Each team blasted the other’s pitching, and there were 19 total runs and 22 hits during the game.
Andrew Perrin got the win in relief for Camels. Perrin pitched four innings and allowed no runs.
Camels jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first. Camels then tacked on more runs when Kramer scored on a sacrifice fly by Robert Metz.
Anderson scored two runs of its own in the first. Anderson scored on a two-run single by Mason.
Anderson quickly matched Camels’ strong inning with a three-run inning of its own in the second. Anderson scored on an RBI single by Riley and a two-run double by Peterson.
Camels never surrendered the lead after the fifth inning. The runs piled on thanks to three singles and a wild pitch.
