Last night the running Camels completed the Northern Kentucky Athletic Conference. The Lady Camels overcame injuries and obstacles and clawed their way to 2nd place grabbing every point they could take with them in an excellent performance that puts them ahead of their regional competition. Medal winners were:

  • First place: Shuttle Hurdle team of Schumacher, Cline, Weinburg, and Brittany Rust.
  • Also in first, the Distance Medley team of Florimonte, Carrigan, Kavanaugh, and Reagor crushed the previous school record!
  • The girls 4×800 meter relay of Meiser, Kavanaugh, Reagor, and Florimonte reeled in a 2nd place finish, while Kaylee Johnson and Christina Marlow threw out a 3rd place finish in the shot put competition.

The boys team pulled in a 5th place finish with some great performances as well, including:

  • The 3rd place shuttle hurdle team of Thacker, Blades, lacy, and Bates.
  • The 4×400 meter relay of Froelicher, Mayer, Younse and Lacy place 3rd also.
  • Reaching for new heights, Vaulters Seiter and McGrath leapt to a 2nd place finish in Pole Vault and Long Jumpers Bates and Camden Lacy sprang to second place as well.
    Congratulations to these Camels on their hard fought awards!

Congratulations to Gracie Florimonte for qualifying for the Kentucky Dream Mile to be run in Louisville this evening. Good Luck Gracie!
