Donnie Carnes Meet

The girls team finished 1st and the boys team finished 3rd in the 22nd annual Donnie Carnes Meet Saturday at CCHS.  Below are detailed results.

Girls Highlights: 

1st place finishes: Becca Cline swept the 100 and 300 meter hurdle events,  Kayla Kavanaugh  in the 800 meters, Laney Weinberg in the long jump, the 4×400 meter relay of Kavanaugh, Cline, Mounts, and Kramer, and the 4×800 meter relay of Reagor, Kramer, Meiser, and Kavanaugh.

2nd place finishes went to Sidney Reagor in the 1500 and 3000m,  Laney Weinberg in the Triple Jump, Kayla Kavanaugh in the 400 meter dash

3rd place finishes were earned by Grace Kramer in the 400 meter dash, Laney Weinberg in the High Jump,  and Grace Meiser in the 800 meter run.

Boys Highlights:

The boys were led by Cooper Ackerson w/ 20 points with quality performances in high jump, long jump, and triple jump. Other top performers: Brady singleton (long jump 2nd place), Burhan nor (1500 2nd place), Christian Slone (1500 2nd place), 4×800 (Slone, s McGrath, j McGrath, Rauch), and Caleb lacy (high jump t-2nd).
