The Camels traveled to Lexington Saturday night to take on the Lexington Christian Eagles in the final game of the Jim Rose Classic.  The Camels found themselves on the right side of the scoreboard in the first period as Trent McGovney drilled 2 three pointers and Matt Wilson added 6 points.  The Camels led 13-12 after one period and outscored the Eagles 14-11 in the 2nd period to lead by 4 at the half.  Cole Hegyi scored 6 of his points in the 2nd period to help the Camels extend their lead.

This game was certainly a tale of two halves as the home team from Lexington Christian came out of the half energized, rattling off 20 points in the quarter to the Camels 8.  The Camels struggled to score as the Eagles pushed the lead to 43-35 at the end of three quarters. The Eagles scored another 20 in the final period, and the Camels ran out of gas to fall by a final of 63-51.

Trent McGovney and Cole Hegyi paced the Camels with 14 points each and Matt Wilson added 12.  The Camels have a tough week coming up with a Tuesday home game against 9th Region champion Covington Catholic and road contests at Dixe on Wednesday and Montgomery County on Friday.
