Campbell County beat Calvary Christian on Tuesday 11-1 in six innings riding the dominating performance on the mound of Sophomore Austin Hoeh.
Campbell County scored five runs in the sixth on an RBI single by Colton Hartig, a hit by pitch, a walk by Dawson Hogan, two wild pitches, and an RBI single by Ethan Kremer. Hogan racked up three RBIs on one hit for Campbell County.
Austin Hoeh‘s eight strikeouts pushed Campbell County past Calvary Christian in commanding fashion. Hoeh allowed one earned run, two hits and one walk over six innings.
McWorther was charged with the loss. He allowed eight runs in 5 1/3 innings, walked four and struck out two.
Campbell County went up for good in the fourth, scoring three runs on an RBI double by Kremer and a two-run single by Cooper Gray.
Campbell County tacked on another three runs in the fifth. The inning got off to a hot start when Hogan singled, plating Connor Walshand Carson Plessinger.
