Campbell County beats Conner 5-3

Dawson Hogan went 2-3, sparking Campbell County to a 5-3 victory in seven innings over Conner on Thursday. He singled in the second and fifth innings. The victory marked the 17th win of the season for the Camels.
Joe Eblin recorded the win for Campbell County Camels Varsity. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered three hits. He moved to left field where he made two incredible catches that helped ensure his victory from the mound.
Justice took the loss for Conner. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
Campbell County closed with Colton Hartig who put away the final six outs to record the save.
The bottom of the second saw Campbell County take an early lead, 2-0. The Camels Varsity got things going when Hogan singled. A single by Alex Franzen then moved Carson Plessinger from second to third. Campbell County added more runs when Franzen scored on an error.
Campbell County scored one run of its own in the fourth on an RBI double by Hartig.
The lead stayed with Campbell County after the fifth, when it scored two runs on two singles.
