Boone County falls 10-0 at the hands of Campbell County Camels

Campbell County Camels beat Boone County on Wednesday 10-0 in six innings.
The Camels scored four runs in the sixth on a groundout by Noah Brewer, an error, a walk by Collin Teegarden, and a walk by Connor Walsh. Teegarden reached base four times in the game for Campbell County. He scored two runs and had one RBI.
Campbell County’s Alex Franzen kept Boone County off the scoreboard for all six innings he was on the rubber. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on three hits while ringing up eight.
Elmore couldn’t get it done on the hill for Boone County, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
Campbell Countynever trailed after scoring three runs in the second on an RBI double by Cory Franzen, an error, and an RBI single by Connor Walsh.
Campbell County its lead with two runs in the fourth. A sacrifice fly scored Teegarden to get the Camels on the board in the inning.
