Posted On: May 12, 2015 Posted By: David Shepard

Campbell County Camels’s Cameron Edwards pitched six innings, but providing enough offense to notch a victory proved difficult Tuesday, as Campbell County fell to Harrison County 2-1.

Taylor got it done on the bump on the way to a win. He allowed one run over 6 2/3 innings. Taylor struck out three, walked two and gave up four hits.

Edwards was the game’s losing pitcher.

Harrison County closer S. Free put away the final out to record the save.

Harrison County stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the sixth, scoring two runs on a two-run error.

The lone run of the game for Campbell County Camels crossed the plate in the seventh inning on an RBI double by Gabe Kremer.
