Camels Take On Lloyd In Final Pre-Season Test

On Wednesday afternoon the Camels took on Lloyd High School in a controlled scrimmage for their final pre-season test of the year. The Camels open the regular season next Friday December 5th at home against the Dixie Heights Colonels.
The Camels started off slowly playing to an even first quarter but then pulled away from the Juggernauts and controlled the remainder of the scrimmage. Blake Losey led the Camels in scoring with 20 points. Dre Jackson chipped in a smooth 15 points including a breakaway dunk. Jake Franzen was the “chairman of the boards” controlling the offensive and defensive glass while adding 13 points. Cole Hegyi netted 10 points and Craig Neltner chipped in 9. Floor general Trent McGovney’s hustle and defense limited the Juggernaut’s scoring. Matt Wilson sat out with a sore ankle, but should be ready to go against Dixie on Friday.
Come out and support the Camels as they kick off the 2014-2015 season. The Freshman team will play Newport Catholic @ 4:30. The JV and Varsity will take on Dixie at 6:00 and 7:30.
